TRUE GOSPEL 1.0.......... WITH HELEN AGHEDO

20:34

THE WORLD THAT JESUS DIED TO SAVE.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen!

Without doubt, many of us are familiar with the scripture John 3:16, which says “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life”. Which world is the Bible referring to?

We need to study the word of God, from the days of Adam and Eve to be able to fully appreciate the fact that Jesus Died to Save The World. This is not the time to blame Adam and Eve for our short comings. The Bible recorded some men and women whose ways pleased God even before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. If Abel, a direct son of Adam and Eve could please God (Genesis 4:4), then we have no reason to lay all our blames on the first male and female. Other examples of men who pleased God include; Enoch (Genesis 5:24), Noah (Genesis 6:9), Abraham (Genesis 17:1-2), Lot (Genesis19:1-3), etc.

Also, God used prophets such as Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Samuel etc. to make man know what he (God) needs from him yet, sin continue to triumph. God tried many ways to eliminate sin from the world. This is evident in Genesis 7:12, when he flooded the earth in the days of Noah. Also, evident in Genesis 19:24, when he rained down brimstone and fire upon the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in the days of Lot. But the devil still had his way with man.

Our God who knows the end of something even before it begins, knows that you and I must not be consumed. Hence, he sent his only Son, Jesus, to come and die in our place. If only we would believe that Jesus died to save the world and accept him as our personal Lord and Saviour as well as repent of our sins.
May God bless his words in our hearts, in Jesus name. AMEN!
May the grace of our lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen! (Revelations 22:21).
Till we meet again next week. Remain Blessed!
