WHY JESUS CAME DOWN TO SAVE THE WORLD
Beloved! Jesus, the only
son of god did not just leave his throne to come down to earth because he got tired
of staying in heaven. He did it for the following reasons:
1.
Everything, including man was created by
him in the beginning (with love).
(John
1:1-3,14/ 1 Peter 4:9/ Isaiah 54:9).
2.
God continually kept his promises (Genesis
12:2-3;15;5/ Deuteronomy 28/ 1 John2:25) but man continually failed to obey God
as seen in (Numbers 14:34/ Genesis 6:5/Psalm 14:1-3).
3.
Whenever man was massively punished,
innocent people, plants and animals as well as non-living things were also
affected. As seen in (Genesis 6:11-13,8:21, 17/ Jonah 4:11/ Ezekiel 6: 3/ Leviticus
1:8/ Isaiah 54:9).
4.
God got tired of accepting the blood of
animals and other offerings as remission for sins (Numbers 18:17,24-25/ Leviticus
5:15,17:6/ Psalm 51:17/ Exodus 23:18/ Leviticus 2:4, 5:1-10).
5.
God regretted creating man but never
stopped loving him (Proverbs 10:12/ 1 Peter 4:8, 5:5/ 1 Corinthians13:4-7/
Genesis 6:6).
6.
God finds it necessary to change his plan
of blessings when men rebel and sin despite his unfailing love and care (Deuteronomy32:36/
Psalm 135:14/ Jeremiah 18:10-11/ 1 Samuel 18:29-30).
7.
God will change his mind from cursing man
to blessing him when he turns away from sin (Jeremiah 18:8-10, 26:3&13,
42:10/ Joel2:12-19/ Jonah 3:9/ Hosea 12:6).
There are many other
reasons why Jesus Died to Save The World, but the key word is LOVE!
