Ask me to point out a nearly perfect person, and I will point out a mother!

For I have searched from the North to the South, East to West, all four corners of the world.

I have seen people profess love, but I have seen nothing to be compared to the love of a mother.

    Mothers are found in various forms, they can be sisters, aunts, teachers, leaders, or any female who is willing to reach out to another human being with an unconditional love.

   I personally cannot speak on behalf of everybody, but I can speak on my own behalf, about a mother, who brings nothing but happiness to my righteous soul.

   Being a mother is a gift. It is sleepless nights, it is being stern and protective. It is teaching a child to talk, walk and run. It is bracing a child for a fall and dusting them off after they do. It is seeing your child crying and not knowing what to do, instead you sit on the floor with them, hold them tight and cry with them. It is teaching them that they are smart, funny, and assuring them that they can do great things. Being a mother is helping to build a child’s self-esteem, supporting their dreams and loving them unconditionally. It is being strong for them even when you are weak. It is smiling when you want to cry and crying when you are smiling with pride.

    Being a mother is a blessing, a gift, a relationship that stands the test of time, it never ends and a love that never dies.

    I speak from the depth of my heart, as I dedicate this post to every mother out there today! For the kind and amount of love you have shown, selfless duties and dedication to our growth, your everyday tedious duties ranging from cooking, cleaning, nurturing, lifting and inspiring. Even without a degree in psychology, you remain the best Counsellors. Without a degree in home management you are the best home managers. No matter what you face in life, no matter your personal worries and problems, you still put on a smile for your children and always give a listening ear ready to help, you put your needs on hold just to satisfy your children. The sleepless nights you had for our sake and the worries we put you through, still you never gave up on us, your love only increased and has never decreased. Who in life apart from God could be this good and loving? A Mother!!!

   My prayer goes out there today to every woman struggling with the problem of infertility, hearken your hearts to God, he is your maker and all good things come from him. No manufacturer produces a product without a purpose, and before release into the market he first tests to ensure the product can fulfil its purpose. God, your manufacturer, tested you and saw you fit to fulfil his purpose. He even went ahead and said “go into the world and multiply”. He visited Sarah at the old age to remind her that he didn’t make her without a purpose, he blessed her with a child! He will do it in his own timing!! He said he knows the plans he has for you, plans to prosper!!!!

Wait on the Lord, be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart…… Psalm 27:14

Mothers!!!! Though you are no perfect beings, but you are great beings!
