There is something about God.

There is something about his words and promises.

There is something about the feeling you get from worshipping him.

Thoughts of him could make the strongest human tear up.

Thoughts of him could arose this strong emotion in you, one uncontrollable, one that could bring you down to your knees…

Indeed, I have been opportune to have experienced good friendship from humans, but none has ever made me feel this way.

God! The more I try to understand, the more I get confused.

How could you love a mere sinner in such a way as you do?

All I have done is sin, from the words I speak, to the thoughts of my heart, to the things I do. Yet, your mercies never ceased for a bit.

Many have walked this same road but are no more. I can’t even begin to mention the goodness you have shown me from birth to this day. From when I was young till now, I have not seen any to be compared to you.

At times I wonder, what exactly is it about me that has made you love me so?

Many times have I fallen, with no one to run to, you were always there to raise me up. When I needed a shoulder to lean on, yours was always available.

Heaven bear me witness, however I am today, is credit to no man or even my doing, but all thanks to you God.

I can never doubt your existence, because I have witnessed your love and companion first hand.

When the struggles of life try weighing me down, I hear you telling me to be strong. I feel your presence walking with me through every circumstance.

 I don’t think I am even explaining it well. You are the reason I live, the reason for my existence. When many ran to human for help, I ran to you. Where many waited on man for answers, I waited on you.

I would not have fully lived if I do not shout to the whole world what you have done for me.

You amaze me God!!!!

At times I envy you though, you so perfect, so loving, so merciful, so patient, so caring.

Words fail me in trying to describe your awesomeness. I can’t seem to find the perfect words to use in expressing my love and appreciation towards you.

I have put my hope in you since I was young, you have never failed me.

All my days, my generations unborn will serve you forever!

I love you God! You make me strong!

I have fallen in love severally, but I have never felt this amount of love towards anyone.

Only you know the heart of man, and that is all that matters to me, Knowing that you know my heart.

How else am I going to say this? I am inlove with you God, I have been since I was young, it has never changed for a second.

It was you who taught me that no matter what I face today, there is hope because tomorrow holds something better.

You know my pains and have wiped away every tear I shed in secret.

You are my Best Friend!!!

Therefore, I ask for forgiveness of sins I have committed in my thoughts, my words, my deeds/actions. In what I have done and what I have failed to do. Knowingly or unknowingly, willingly or unwillingly. The sins of my parent and brothers, the sins of my friends and their families, the sins of my relatives.

In your finite mercy forgive us God!
